Our vision is to make SHIVAC Arts & Crafts an extension of home, where children as well as those living with HIV Aids and elderly people will find peace and love.
The fundamental objective is of creating employment opportunity for  talented but unemployed local residents, living in and around Mondesa, Swakopmund whilst encouraging and promoting dying crafts.
SHIVAC serves as a community-based epicentre for shaping, developing, maintaining and promoting indigenous skills and knowledge in innovative and competitive traditional and conventional and/or comparative arts and crafts.
The centre further provides arts and crafts products and services to its existing and potential clients. In addition, the centre, provides arts and crafts skills development support initiatives to women and children infected and affected by HIV and AIDS.
